Death

For many, death is the final stop. However, in a world filled with spirits and reincarnation, death isn't quite the end of the road. Accidents happen; purposeful deaths occur. With the Spirit World acting so erratic and making an effort to balance things, your character's presence here is seen as needed by the Spirit World, so they won't stay permanently dead.

However, death isn't just a slap on the wrist. You don't get to just "come back" and everything's all right. We've set up a tier system based not on the severity/method of the death, but rather based upon the number of times a character has died. Within each tier, you have a variety of things to pick from, so if one option doesn't suit your fancy, perhaps another will. With each death, you must pick from a higher tier. When a character dies for the first time, the consequence will come from Tier 1; the second death is Tier 2 and the third death is Tier 3.

Tier 1
- Loss of a limb
- Loss of a physical sense
- Loss of some, but not all memories
- 1 week in the Fog of Lost Souls

Tier 2
- Loss of bending (if applicable)
- Loss of either canon or au memories
- Loss of memories since arrival in the game
- 2 weeks in the Fog of Lost Souls

Tier 3
- Experiencing permanent, unyielding physical pain
- 1 month comatose, but aware of surroundings
- 1 month in the fog of lost souls
- The Spirits decide the character isn't necessary and remove them from the city permanently (essentially a drop)

Tier 4
- The Spirits decide the character isn't necessary and remove them from the city permanently (essentially a drop)

You don't need mod permission to kill your character, but we do ask that you submit this form each time any character is killed.
